The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care is designed to enable learners to access Higher Education or progress into the workplace, covering a wide range of key subject areas in health and social care.

The qualification was developed with input from subject experts, employers and Higher Education Institutions, giving learners a solid, current foundation in the sector. NCFE CACHE qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).

  • There are no other formal entry requirements, although the College may carry out its own suitability checks.
  • Learners should undertake Initial and Diagnostic assessment held by the College.
  • Our Recognition of Prior Learning policy means that students' previous learning and experience can be considered, and they may be awarded certain qualifications or units of a qualification based on that learning or experience.
