Overview

The NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business is designed to help learners develop the essential skills required to work successfully in a business environment, alongside a broader understanding of business culture and organisational responsibility.

Learners build a personalised programme by choosing from a wide range of business units, making the qualification suitable both as a substantial element of a Study Programme and as a standalone route into business employment. NCFE qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).

Entry Requirements

• There are no formal entry requirements, although learners may benefit from having already achieved a Level 2 qualification.
• Learners should be aged 16 and over.
• Learners should undertake Initial and Diagnostic assessment held by the College.
• Our Recognition of Prior Learning policy means that students' previous learning and experience can be considered, and they may be awarded certain qualifications or units of a qualification based on that learning or experience.

Assessment

Assessment is by internally assessed portfolio of evidence, externally quality assured. There are no exams.

Learners receive tutor feedback and marks for each unit submitted.
